Sort of a comedy of a comedy (this is not a typo) containing chibi incarnations of the girls of AA! Megami-sama.

Story: 1/5 [The core series was low on story and this one has practically none]

The miniaturized girls take part in stand-alone silly adventures, like chasing mice or finding ghosts. No real plot or story development.

Characters: 3/5 [You just want to squeeze them in your arms!]

The characters are more childish variations of the core series. Not as attractive as they were there; but their ultra cute appearance and behavior is very adorable.

Animation & Sound: 3/5 [Sillier theme, sillier graphics and sounds]

Everything seems cheerier and more superficial. The colors are generally brighter, the shapes simpler, and animation is not realistic with so much “body joint absence”. The voice acting is relaxed but still good and the songs are too stupid to care about.

Things usually are much worse in parodies. The treatment the animators and voice actresses gave in this department is generally very good.

Overall: 1/5 [It’s just a marketing trick to squeeze money out of Belldandy’s fans]

There is nothing this series has to offer to anyone that doesn’t really like the core series. I personally like it and yet found all this aimless comedy, pointless without a hint of a backdrop story behind it or without any real ties with the main series.

I dislike chibi parodies in general. Watching similar premise in Record Of Lodoss War and SD Gundam was more than enough to hate this whole concept. Humiliating famous titles is cruel!
